St. Paul Auditorium, first home of the Saint Paul Institute (the early Science Museum of Minnesota), as it looked from the early 1900s. The institute was located on the top three floors of the auditorium from 1907 until 1927.

30 E. 10th Street in downtown St. Paul, home of the Science Museum of Minnesota from 1964 until 1999. In 1978 the museum completed a major expansion program and opened a new building in an adjacent block, which included three new exhibit halls and the William L. McKnight-3M Omnitheater.
